Redesign of the Dragon Pig Dungeon
The Porco Territory, Dragon Pig Maze, Dragon Pig Dungeon, and all the monsters which inhabit these areas have been graphically enchanced and in some cases, completely redesigned to correspond faithfully to an episode of Wakfu the Animated Series which takes place in the Dragon Pig dungeon. We took advantage of this graphic overhaul to add a new monster to confront, a new set of gear to create, and a new emote that can be unlocked.

Reconstitution orb:

A Magic Orb (that allows you to redistribute characteristic points) will be given to all currently and previously subscribed accounts. We are giving this object in order to facilitate changing synergies and roles in teams from the changes made to the classes in this update. This object is not given on the beta server.

Equipment and sets:
  • 37 new pieces of equipment related to Frigost episodes 1 and 2 have been added.
  • The effect "Gives a title" is visible in the effects of equipment.
  • Royal coco belt: the fire resistance percentage bonus is replaced by an air resistance percentage bonus, and this change is not retroactive.
  • Andy War Sword: the weapon can be equipped by Rogues.
  • Cape Hulco (class cape for Cras): the effect "reduce by 1 the AP cost of the spell burning arrow" is replaced by a suppression of the line of sight of the spell. This change is retroactive.
  • Veggie Boots (class boots for Cras): The effect " reduce by 1 the AP cost of the spell magic arrow" is replaced by a bonus of +15 critical hits for the spell. This change is retroactive.
  • The Explosive Set and the Lunatic Set, class sets for Rogues and Zobals, are now available.
  • Stormcloud Staff: The weapon is now 5 AP. Its critical hit bonus is increased from 5 to 6.
  • Sunshade Staff: The critical hit rate changes from 1/40 to 1/50.
  • Youyettes : The critical hit bonus changes from +8 to +6.
  • Ethical Wand: The critical hit bonus changes from +6 to +4
  • Elven Shovel: The critical hit rate changes from 1/40 to 1/50. Its critical hit bonus changes from 5 to 4.
  • Peccadillo Blade: The critical hit bonus changes from +7 to +5.
  • Hail Sceptre: The critical hit bonus changes from +8 to +6.
  • Celestial Bearbarian set: It becomes impossible to have more than a +15 bonus to dodge lock by wearing the objects of the set. The dodge lock bonus obtained by agility is not taken into account for the purposes of this condition
  • A new equipment condition has been added to the Bearbarian Amulet: It is now impossible to wear this item if a character's chance, intelligence, or agility exceeds 559. This new condition replaces the previous restriction of MP < 8, which has been made moot by the new AP / MP / and Range restrictions. This allows us to return this item to its intended role of multi-elemental support. Its bonuses are extremely valuable, and should not be easily equiped by those who choose to mono-element their build without making serious sacrifices. The rest of the set has not been changed.
  • Damage of the Staff of the Prophets has been reduced. Previously it was 21 to 32 neutral / 5 to 7 fire. Now it is 20 to 30 neutral / 4 to 6 fire. Its level has changed from 165 to 169. The weapon's equipment conditions have changed from 200 to 250.
  • The drop rate of resources associated with the Fuji Snowfoux have been doubled.
  • The Fuji Snowfoux Set now gives an AP bonus when four set items are equipped.
  • The Fuji Snowfoux belt has been changed into a ring. Its bonuses have been modified accordingly.
  • The recipes for the Mithik Bracelet and the Memo Ring are now different from each other, and the Mithik Bracelet can be crafted again.
  • Bearbaric Sword, the Frigostine Set, the Gorgoyle Set, and the Mastic Cloak can now be found in the recipe lists for the jobs which can create them, and can be crafted.

Saving dungeon progress:
A new system allows you to save your progress in the dungeon in order to interrupt the dungeon, or to lose a fight and start again at the same stage without having to start over from the beginning. Two dungeons will not have this system because of their particular mechanisms: the Jellith Dimension and the Pet Sanctuary. A devblog article is available here: Saving Your Progress in a Dungeon

Perceptors:
  • Perceptors can now be placed in the last room of a dungeon.
  • Perceptors in dungeons can be defended by 7 characters.
  • It is no longer possible to use multiple accounts on the same machine to attack or defend the same perceptor.
  • In the perceptor menu, the option "Attack" is grayed out if it's not possible.
  • It becomes possible to view in the guild interface the list of attackers and defenders in a perceptor fight after the fight has started.
  • In the social interface, the defenders and attackers of a perceptor are now displayed during the fight.
  • In the social interface, when a perceptor is attacked, it is possible join and leave the defense multiple times.

A devblog article is available on this subject: Improvements to the Dungeon Perceptor System

Deterministic Dodgelock:
  • The dodge lock system is changed in order to be deterministic. The results of an attempt to dodge and to dodge lock are completely visible ahead of time and no random component is involved. We have put this system in place to reinforce the tactical aspect of the game and to make the fights much less static. A devblog article is available on this subject at this addresss:
  • The dodge lock value of the target is now displayed in their overview.
  • It is now possible to move in a path without stopping even if you encounter an enemy's tackle zone. This change allows us to speed up fights.
  • Invisible entities can no longer dodge lock or be dodged lock by their adversaries.
  • Rogues' illusions can dodge lock their enemies but they are destroyed just after the dodge lock. If a Rogue dodge locks an enemy while he has illusions active, they are destroyed.

Optimization and performance:
  • Animation effects for Sacrier and Eniripsa spells have been revised and optimized.
  • The option "Display animated decor elements" is now active immediately without having to change maps. In addition, animated decor elements are deactivated automatically during fights to improve performance.
  • The following hats are optimized and readjusted to fit characters' heads:
    • Kracker Cap
    • The Bear
    • Father Kwismas Hat
    • Bimd'Oule Hat
    • Himune
    • Gold/Sapphire/Black Dreggheadgear
    • Dragostess Hat
    • Flying Dreggon Headgear
    • Master Nabur Helmet
    • Sulik
    • Paperb' Hat
    • Snailmet
  • The minimino and miniminotot pets are completely revised and optimized.
  • The object "Inky Veil" is optimized.
  • The power auras for levels 100 and 200 are reworked.

Archmosters:
Archmonsters that are killed without being captured can respawn immediately (their respawn cooldown is removed). The other constraints on the appearance of these monsters remain (probability of appearing in a group and the availability of a place on the map for the group.)

Exchange system:
The exchange system is improved and now displays gauges of the pods of the two characters. The gauges are updated for each object that is put in the exchange window. It thus becomes possible to precisely predict the consequences of exchanging object. Validating the exchange is only possible when the gauges will both be valid after the exchange. It becomes possible, for example, to exchange 1000 pods of objects for 1000 pods of objects between two characters with full inventories.

Exotic Forgemaging and maximal values of MP/AP/Range:
  • Each character can no longer add more than 1 AP, 1 MP and 1 range by unnatural bonuses from forgemaging (bonuses that are not initially present on the object). Supplementary bonuses are not taken into account in this restriction. Temporary bonuses are not affected by this change.
  • A character can no longer accumulate with his equipment and base values more than 12 AP, 6 MP and 9 range. The excess bonuses are not counted. Temporary bonuses are not affected by this change. A devblog article on this subject is available at this address:

Challenges:
  • Challenges now work correctly when a monster is resurrected by another monster.
  • Challenges obtained when fighting a dungeon boss are saved for 24 hours following losing or quitting the fight.
  • The challenge "Hermit" is no longer failed when a pandawa ends his turn carrying a character.

Fights:
  • The error message "Action impossible in fight" that appears at the beginning of a perceptor fight is removed.
  • It's no longer possible to capture bosses in a dungeon in a fight of more than 2 characters where more than half the characters have left the fight.
  • Use of invisible mode (displaying only colored circles) no longer freezes the fight temporarily when the mode is turned on.
  • When a person is changing equipment (and thus initiative) in the preparation phase of a fight, the timeline and the order of the players is correctly updated.
